You’ll enjoy this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home tucked away on the canal with a boat-lift. .

There is an open living room with a smart TV & views of the canal. The well- stocked kitchen & large dining table allow for family dinners with ease. The huge canal front covered porch is the perfect place to unwind on our rocking chairs.

Inside you’ll find a King bedroom with 3 piece bath, a queen room & a bunk room that sleeps 4. Boat lift is accessible with the rental, but use at own risk & additional liability contracts apply.

Canal Cottage on Causeway is a wonderful waterfront home with boat lift right on the canal allowing for easy access to all the waters of the bogue sound and beyond. Just bring your boat or rent one locally and let the fun begin….Enjoy all that the island has to offer with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Many of these places are in walking distance. This is a deep-water canal and can accommodate somewhat larger boats even at low tide. Morehead City waterfront, Beaufort Inlet and Newport River are just a five minute boat ride or a short drive away!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and in a peaceful neighborhood. We stayed at the beach all day and stayed in at night. The table in the living room was perfect for board games. We had one small issue with a bathroom but after reaching out it was promptly fixed. Everything was exactly as described and communication was great. The only amenity we couldn’t find was the blender but that wasn’t a big deal. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Towels were “awesome”, too step of stairs needs to be repaired, only two partial rolls of toilet paper were found. Small stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, accommodated 7 of us, easy access for boat (didn’t use the lift), easy to find. Would recommend with no hesitation.

A few of us stayed here for a fishing trip. The house was clean, had the essentials in the kitchen and overall delivered on expectation. The dock in the back was great, we were able to tie up my skiff overnight on the floating dock and throw for some mullet when hanging out. I would book again, great central location for a trip!

We had a good overall experience at the property. The communication with the landlord was good. The location was great at Atlantic Beach close to everything. The neighborhood was good. The only issue we had was with the dock which had decking boards that were in disrepair and rotting a couple of places you could see through to the water. We could not let the kids go on the dock do too the condition of the dock. Overall it was a good experience

The price of the house doesn’t match the quality. We wanted a rental with a boat lift and enough space for us and our two little children. Previous reviews said how clean the house was, my experience was definitely not the same. There were dead roaches in the house when we arrived and throughout the week they just kept coming. We also found spiders, beetles and ants in the house. The backyard was also loaded with fire ants in the lawn.

The boat lift was great but the dock is a major hazard. Loose boards, broken boards, old rusty nails sticking out, and a few boards fell straight through to the water.

The bunk bed room for the kids has a very large mold spot on the ceiling.

Overall, the price does not match the home. The location and convenience of the boat lift was why we chose this home, but personally we were not pleased.

The place was exactly what was pictured and described in the website. We really enjoyed our stay. The property manager, Stacy, was very helpful and responsive from booking to checkout. The host, Michael, was off-the-grid when we needed to modify the stay closer to the date. He didn’t respond to any of the normal outlets that AirB&B says to follow, not even when the support staff tried to reach out to him. He is the only reason that everything wasn’t a 5 throughout.

Stacy, on the other hand, was absolutely fabulous and we so appreciate her extra help in accommodating us. We will definitely rebook next year because of her and the property. It’s rare that any place meets to my cleanliness standards, but this one surpassed it. Clean, crisp, white, and coastal. Loved it!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to make memories with family and friends. The neighborhood was peaceful and nice the boat dock and lift were perfect for a boat. The house was cleaned very well before arrival and the back deck over looking the canal is relaxing and nice to sit out on and enjoy the weather. The house has plenty of room and nice living room area and kitchen area. Many of good restaurants around the area and very close to shops and the beach. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is staying in the area and will be staying here again in the future I give it 10/10.

My husband and I were very pleased with our 2 night stay in this canal house to attend a wedding. Michael, the host is responsive and provides clear information for ease of access. It is perfect for a couple or a family with children to enjoy a weekend or week long vacation at the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. This house is well equipped with all the essentials, beautifully decorated, and in a great location to enjoy all that Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, and Beaufort have to offer,; especially for those who have a boat or with local friends with boats to pick you up at the backyard dock for fun on the water. The Atlantic Beach boardwalk with public beach access and plenty of parking is only a 3-minute drive away.
We will be back! Thank you, Michael for a wonderful airbnb experience.
